Several years ago a friend pointed out to me that if you are of African American linage, you don’t have a specific country to point to your heritage; you have a continent. A genetic test off the internet might give you a region, but it’s still quite non-specific. Am I European American? Not likely, I’d say I’m Irish, Scottish or part German American. Foo Dogs My maternal grandparents inspired my third novel, 5th&Hope. They were part of The Greatest Generation.
